Search: Home    Shop Quivira    Mailing List    Trade/Media Truffle Recipe INGREDIENTS 8 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped 1/2 cup whipping cream 1/4 cup unsalted butter 3 tsp. Quivira Petite Sirah DIRECTIONS Place whipping cream and chocolate in a heavy saucepan over low heat and stir occasionally until chocolate melts. Add butter and continue stirring until butter is melted. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature. Let sit in refrigerator until hard (about eight hours). Spoon out by the teaspoon and form into balls, then roll in finely chopped nuts, cocoa, or dip in chocolate. Makes 36-48 truffles.
